Based in Malawi, Madalitso Kaunda is Hesed World’s Focal Point for Malawi. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Development Economics and has extensive experience in economic regulation, policy analysis, and peacebuilding. With a background in economic governance, Madalitso has worked in the ICT sector, focusing on data analysis, pricing strategies, and regulatory frameworks that promote market efficiency and consumer protection.

Beyond economics, she is a passionate advocate for youth, peace, and security. As a longtime member of FemWise-Africa, she has played a key role in advancing women’s participation in conflict resolution and decision-making processes. She has led initiatives on peacebuilding, capacity development, and policy advocacy, ensuring that women and young people are actively involved in shaping sustainable peace efforts.
