Nolliettie Chihana
Nolliettie is a Peace Mediation Advocate and Communication Expert. In her current role, she works with the Malawi Police Service as Women Peace and Security Desk Officer.In particular, Nolliettie’s work has focused on creating equal opportunity for women to be involved in conflict prevention, mediation and management processes.

Previously, Nolliettie was involved in the drafting of the Malawi National Action Plan for Youth, Peace and Security. She also worked with UNDP to design and implement a project to provide pre-deployment training for Police Officers involved in peacekeeping missions. Nolliettie is a member of the African Union Network for African Women in Conflict Prevention and Mediation (FemWise), Women Mediators Across the Commonwealth and several other networks and associations. She is also a part time lecturer in Peace Support Operations at the University of Malawi. Nolliettie holds a BA in Business Communication, as well as a MA in Diplomacy and International Relations.
