Dr. Paul Vallet
Dr Paul Vallet is currently an Associate Fellow at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, a position he has held since 2015. Previously, Paul was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Sciences Po Paris, teaching Modern History and International Relations courses between 2002 and 2012. He also taught at the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales from 2007 to 2012 and was a visiting Assistant Professor at the Fletcher School (2011) and the University of Mainz (2009 and 2012).
Alongside authoring several publications on European, American and Russian History and Political Institutions, Paul has received a Certificate as Generalist in marketing and corporate communications from SAWI Lausanne. Previously, he served in the French Army’s 110th Infantry, Franco-German Brigade). He has contributed his expertise and commentary on several international television news channels including France 24, CNN, Al Jazeera, Bloomberg TV and France Internationale. He studied International Relations at Sciences Po Paris and at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. He received his PhD in History from the University of Cambridge in 2006.
