As cited by the World Economic Forum's recent piece, the International Labour Organization’s Global Employment Trends for Youth 2024 report revealed that 65 million young people remain unemployed worldwide.

With educational mismatches and a shortage of secure jobs disproportionately affecting youth in developing regions, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa, the report underscores the urgency of our mission. As more than two-thirds of young people face anxiety due to job insecurity, the need for innovative solutions that bridge the gap between education and employment is critical.

This is where Hesed World will make a powerful and enduring difference. Our mentorship programs pair young changemakers with experienced professionals, equipping them with the technical and entrepreneurial skills needed to survive and thrive in the digital age. And through this training, mentorship and support, young people in developing countries can secure sustainable, future-ready employment. And a long and bright future.
