Kamwangi is a seasoned credit expert with experience spanning over 20 years gained while working for pan-African banks namely; The Co-operative Bank, Barclays Bank, Standard Bank and ABSA bank. He has experience in digital lending, SME credit, Co-operatives banking, and consumer credit. Kamwangi has a successful track record in project implementation having managed and implemented several bankwide projects. In additional to commercial lending, he has a fine understanding of the whole agricultural value chain, implementing financial inclusion for the smallholder farmers among others. 

A Certified Productivity and Engagement coach, Kamwangi holds an MBA in finance and has specialist training in banking, leadership and all management and administrative aspects. 

 

Born in Kianjeru, Eastern Africa, he is passionate about driving financial growth, inclusion and efficiency. With a blend of innovation and a solid foundation in finance, Kamwangi is committed to making a meaningful impact in society. He is currently based in Geneva and undertakes credit consultancies in Africa.
